Heavrin represents the people Grayson County and part of Hardin County in Frankfort, and has signed on to file a bill automatically raising your gas/fuel tax, as well as many other fees. This will increase the price of your gas more every year. Heavrin wants to take more of your hard earned money out of your wallet at the gas pumps. Soon people will struggle to afford fuel to get them to their job. Heavrin, along with other Kentucky State Representatives receives $188 per day, plus $166 per day to cover expenses, such as fuel, food, and lodging. Heavrin doesn’t have to pay for gas to drive to Frankfort, and wants to raise the price you will pay to work and support your family.
This bill has not passed yet. You can sign this petition to tell Representative Heavrin that the good people of Grayson County and Hardin County do NOT want to pay more for fuel. My team will be personally delivering each signature to Heavrin’s office in January 2022.
Don’t forget to vote for Jacob Clark on May 17. Jacob Clark will fight to keep bills like this from being passed, and to make government simple, cheap and honest .

We do not need to add to already higher gas prices thanks to Biden’s war on fossil fuels. This nonsense legislation is adding insult to injury since drilling for our own oil has been shut down. Representative Heavrin needs to listen to her constitutants to find out how she can best represent the real pressing needs of the citizens of the Commonwealth.
it is a scam
I am signing this petition because I am a Commercial Truck Driver that is more aware than most citizens, when it concerns fuel taxes. Fuel is the most basic necessity of our logistical system. Profit for the Independent owner/Operator is usually made or lost in fuel costs. We are already being handcuffed as a Nation with our present administrations policies toward fossil fuels, adding to to fuel tax will only continue to cause inflation to rise. And that doesn’t even match the immoral approach that is used by Federal and State governments to hide how much is actually being charged per gallon.
We the people are dying in mandates and expenses now.
We do NOT need to raise taxes. Transportation Dept needs an audit.
I spend enough on gas as is.
STOP creating new taxes. START ELIMINATING THEM.
