Children rights in Lexington, Kentucky,

Critical Race Theory (CRT) is a belief that America at it’s core is racist. It believes that equity and not equality is what is important. A theory that robs people of personal decision making and accountability.

CRT believes that equal outcome is paramount. In order to achieve equal outcome a person must not be able to make their own decisions, because we may all choose differently and therefore have different consequences. CRT has it’s origins in marxist ideology and tears at the very core of the capitalism that has built America to be the freest country in history.

At the very least it appears that this topic is up for debate in America. No topic that deals with social issues and is debatable should be taught to children at public schools. If a parent wants their children taught the tenants of CRT they can do it in their own home. That is what freedom of choice is all about, something (ironically) CRT doesn’t believe in.

We just moved here from Omaha Nebraska. CRT has been going on in the school system there since my children were in kindergarten (they are 15 and 13 now) I have been fighting against what they have been taught and will continue to fight here as well.

Please stop Critical Race Theory in public schools. If parents want to teach that they have a right to do that on their own but to force it on children is anti American and should not be paid for by taxpayers. Allow freedom of choice. Thankyou

Normalizing a radical ideology doesn’t make it accurate or true. This “theory” is an attempt to label all white people as the bourgeois class and everyone else the proletariat in order to divide and conquor the country from within. We’ve seen this type of rhetoric many times in the past, and it never attains the impossible goal of perfect equity, it always results in a giant loss of freedom and lives in the country where it takes root and grows.

I am signing this because our children need to have a education that does not contain politically charged lessons and agendas.
